Technical Sales/Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Sell and promote CORA Valve products by managing existing and developing new customer accounts.
  • Provide our customers with confidence in CORA Valves by responding to their needs with complete and informative data.
  • Establish contracts with our vendors to ensure our costs and lead times are met.
  • Maintain monthly updated sales forecasts, record all quotations sent to customers, and arrange customer follow-up.
  • CORA Valve compliance documentation.
  • Equipment sales engineering support.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum associates degree in mechanical technology with 3 to 5 years prior experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical or chemical industries.
  • Ability to persuasively demonstrate the features and benefits of CORA Valve products.
  • Proficient verbal and written communion skills.
  • Legally authorized to work and travel in the United States.
Skills:
Experience in verbal and written communications with customers and vendors. Strong in mechanical technology including ‘hands on’ mechanical ability. Fluent in AutoCAD 2D and 3D

Education:
Minimum Associates degree in mechanical technology (or similar)

Experience:
3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical, food or chemical industry.

Schedule:          
Full time (Monday thru Friday 8:00 to 4:00)

CORA Valve is a division of Key International, Inc. which is a New Jersey based manufacturing company, founded in 1968, which provides processing and packaging equipment to the pharmaceutical, nutritional, food, cosmetic and chemical industries. This position requires an individual to provide existing and/or new customers with quotations, technical data and CAD drawings for the equipment (CORA valves) that we offer. The individual will work to strengthen relationships with existing customers, seek new opportunities with our customers and acquire new customers.
Customer interaction is mostly by phone and e-mail with occasional face to face meetings.
This position involves working closely with the others on the team to establish proposal strategies and respond to customer inquiries with a price quotations and technical data within a short period of time.
In addition to interacting with customers, the position requires working with our vendors and manufacturing sources who supply the components needed to complete the job once the customer’s order is received.
